Calling All Artists!

The Jax Book Fest is coming! The Jax Book Fest is coming! The upcoming Jax Book Fest (JBF) is a paradise for readers and writers. The fest focuses on celebrating authors that live in Florida, near Florida, and who write about Florida. JBF will be held at the Main Library on March 25, 2017, so save the date now.  The day will feature a full schedule of family friendly activities, presentations, and signings by authors of both national and local acclaim. Jax Book Fest Poster Contest

Continuing with our local theme, we are currently seeking JAX artists to participate in the Jax Book Fest Poster Contest! We know how talented our local arts community is, and we want to showcase that talent. Here’s an opportunity for local artists to create the official poster that will be used to market and promote the JBF. The poster must be full color, print ready, and suitable for reproduction by a city organization like our own. It can be created out of, or involve, any kind of media. Think paint, ink, photography, collage materials, and more. The sky is the limit here. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

We’re not done with the good news. There’s a prize involved with this too! Not only will the winning artist have their art featured as one of the main promotional materials for the JBF, they will also receive a $500 prize.capture
