If it’s always been your dream to see your published work on the shelves of your local library then we have a dream come true for you—submit your work for the Local Author Collection!
Jax Library is working on developing a new collection—the Local Author Collection—and we want your work to be included. Here’s what you need to know for your submission to be considered:
- You must reside in one of the following counties: Duval, Nassau, Clay, St. Johns, Baker, Union or Bradford in Florida, and Camden, Charlton or Glynn in Georgia.
- Submit a donated copy of the book.
- Represent and warrant full ownership and/or legal rights to publish all material in the book, including artwork. Must include critical reviews.
- Complete the required application and return—with a copy of the book—to a Jacksonville Public Library location.
The Local Author Collection is currently being cataloged and will be unveiled at Main during the Jax Book Fest on March 3, 2018. This is a rolling request so if you’re a local author, submit your work!
